Enjoy those ripe blueberries with a classic smoothie. This gem takes just a few minutes to mix, and even less time to enjoy! Packed with antioxidants and a little veggie, this smoothie will energize your afternoon. Don't forget the spinach! The flavor will disappear amongst the blueberry while you get a nice dose of iron!
Makes 1 serving Ready in 5 minutes
1 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup plain, unsweetened Greek yogurt
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup (small handful) fresh spinach.
1 tsp vanilla extract
Wash blueberries thoroughly before adding to blender. Scoop in yogurt, almond milk, spinach and vanilla. Blend on high for about a minute, or when everything is well-dispersed.
Pro tip: Serve with a crazy straw to make it more fun! This is a great way to get kids excited about fruits and veggies.
Warning!: You will probably have little specs of blueberry and spinach in your teeth when you're done. Great for grab and go, so long as you check the mirror. You're welcome!
